04.21.22 NUCPP ANNOUNCES IMPORTANT MEETING WITH NEW IBT ADMINISTRATION
Good afternoon, Pension Warriors!
Just a quick update to let you know that the NUCPP is continuously working for our retirees and the active workers. Tomorrow, April 21, 2022, members of our NUCPP Executive Board, Ken Stribling, Davey Grubbs and Bernie Anderson will be traveling to meet with IBT General President, Sean O’Brien and General Secretary-Treasurer, Fred Zuckerman, to discuss re-establishing the IBT Department for Retirees Affairs. As you may know, that department was closed by IBT shortly after the MPRA was passed in 2014.
Special thanks to NUCPP Advisory Board Member, Reverend Willy Hardy for arranging this important meeting as well as agreeing to attend the meeting with the NUCPP Executive Board.
We will update you with results from tomorrow’s meeting in the near future.
